1. Social Transformation Strategies (STS)

   Social Transformation Strategies program aims to empower individuals, communities and structures by providing frameworks and strategies for transforming people and societal structures.  The specific objectives of the program are as follows:

   To build an egalitarian society that safeguards the dignity and sanctity of life,

2. To build structures that are responsive, equalizing and enabling,

3. To empower actors, on both the demand and supply sides of transformation to be responsible and proactive.

1. Research, Agenda Setting and Influencing (RASI)

   The program activities focus on three types of research undertaking, namely public interest research, program-driven research and exploratory research.  These include investigations into matters of public concern, providing empirical data for program engagement and teasing out new methodologies of social change with the intention of coming up with innovations or alternative approaches.  The specific objectives therefore include:

       To influence practice and policy through objective, evidence- based, and independent research,

2.     To influence practice through ‘actioned’ knowledge and shadow policy briefs,

3.     To set the agenda on economic justice through knowledge banking and think tanking.

1. Media, Community and Voice (MC-V)

   This program’s activities focus on building a critical mass of people around an issue of interest by giving them the belief and ability to act on it through different types of publications, both electronic and print.  The specific objectives include:

        To collectivize voice on the public agenda through community making,

2.      To promote ownership of the public agenda through issue-focused communities,

3.      To build proactive ‘communities of interests’ that will serve as the conscience of the public space.
