Policy Briefs:

JHC publishes policy briefs to promote access to information, reflection and analysis in social justice. These briefs summarise larger policy analyses for wider dissemination, for awareness-raising, discussion and for strengthening advocacy. JHC's programmes always include publication of information and analysis gathered in the course of the programme.

The Nairobi Basic Needs Basket

This is an annual survey that shows the minimum cost of living for a family of four in 16 informal settlements. Te survey has been used over the years as a way of bringing prominence in policy discourse and documents the realities that slum dwellers face. This is not in any sense a comprehensive measure of determining how well-of or badly of slum dweller are, but tries to give an overview of their living conditions. 

 

The Voice

is a magazine of social apostolate of the Jesuits of Eastern Africa Province.  The magazine intends to give a faithful representation of the complex reality of the joys and struggles of the people of Eastern Africa and beyond.  Te magazine provides a forum for sharing narratives of hope, experiences, reflections and commentaries on issues of faith and justice in the region.
